Kaybe Woods (She/Her) is a Los Angeles based storyboard artist, illustrator, writer, podcast host/creator, and comic-maker. Born and raised in Southern California, she's currently working on getting her start as a Storyboard Revisionist in TV animation or Junior Storyboard Artist in Feature Animation. Previously, she’s worked at Cartoon Network as a Special Projects Intern, Film Roman as a Production Intern, DreamWorks TV in Production, starting as a Production Assistant and working up to Asset Coordinator and Netflix Animation as a Production Asset Coordinator for 2D board driven show and Production Coordinator for a 3D feature.
She's the creator and host of "Creating in Color" podcast. The aim of the podcast is to uplift and share the stories of BIPOC creatives. In addition to her podcast, she also coaches/mentors those seeking encouragement and guidance in pursuing personal projects. Kaybe is currently working on a few personal projects such as a web-comic titled, "Fallen", aiming to be released on Webtoons and Tapas by June 2024. She also runs an Etsy shop called "Star Rain Studio" where she sells pins and stickers that she designs and illustrates. Kaybe loves her cat, Zero, animals, music, the smell of cotton candy and cinnamon rolls, video games and the art of animation. |
